October

By Blood had a fantastic showing at the AC Cinefest this past weekend. The film took home three awards:

Best Actor – Russ Camarda
Best Actress – Diana Durango
Best Director – Debra Markowitz

By Blood​ will be showing at the Atlantic City Cinefest on Sunday, October 16th in Dante Hall. Purchase tickets here! It can also be seen at the Big Apple Film Festival on November 3, 2016 (tickets available here).

Leaving will be showing at the Rahway International Film Festival on Sunday, October 23rd in the 1 – 3PM block. You can buy tickets here!

Also be sure to check out the “Brunch & Learn” Seminar, “Casting from Both Sides.” Attendees will be treated to a brunch buffet before a one-hour long filmmaking seminar led by Debra Markowitz. The seminar will cover the casting process with the point of view of a Director & Casting Director. Here’s a short outline:

The Last Taxi Driver​ will be showing at the Second Annual Vault of Horror Film Festival, Saturday, October 29th. Tickets are now available.

By Blood​ has been accepted into the SOHO International Film Festival! The festival will be from June 9th through the 16th. Ticket information will be added soon.

The Last Taxi Driver and Leaving​ have been accepted into the Hoboken International Film Festival! You can buy tickets for the event here. The festival will be from June 6th to June 9th, 2016.

– Big news this month! By Blood, Leaving and The Last Taxi Driver​ have all been selected to and nominated for awards at the Brightside Tavern Shorts Fest! Tickets are on sale at the website. The festival will run March 5th and 6th, 2016. The awards the films have been nominated for are as follows:

By Blood – Best Screenplay
Leaving – Best Short, Best Director – Drama (Debra Markowitz), Best Actress – Short (Molly Ryman)
The Last Taxi Driver​ – Best Comedy, Best Director – Comedy (Debra Markowitz), Best Actor – Comedy (Robert Clohessy)
